Hey y'all!

Welcome everyone and thanks for visiting :) For those of you who don't know me, you can get a better idea of who I am here In short, I am an Illinois State graduate with a Bachelor's of Science, I went to bartending school, I have a yoga certification and I have a thirst for knowledge. I got that from my dad, who recently passed away. I have lived all over the United States and seen many different cultures, geography and experienced many different cuisines. I didn't "grow up" anywhere. As a child we rarely stayed in the same place for more than 5 years, 7 was the longest. I am nearing 7 years in Pawleys Island and have an itch to discover, explore and make new! I have a great job though so I am staying put for now :) Plus my mom is moving here soon and I can't abandon her just yet. So this is my new blog! I have a lot to say and some of you are laughing saying "Nah, really Chrissie?" I really do have a lot to say! I was recently published in Elephant Journal's online blog! But, I have a lot more to say than that. Sometimes they turn me down, so I will post those stories, articles and poems here. Sometimes they accept me so I will link them to this sight but prepared to be wowed! There is more to me than blue eyes, blonde hair and a science degree. You have been warned!! :)
